PeluqueriApp
DAW final project: a booking site for hair salons (Astro + React, Calendly appointments) — and the seed of the AI booking product I'm building today.
What it is
A booking website for hair salons, built as my final degree project (web development): digitalising the appointment flow — browse services, pick a time, book — with a polished, responsive interface.
What I built
- Bookings through Calendly: clients pick a date and time on the site, with automatic confirmation.
- Services catalogue with prices and a Swiper carousel, plus a gallery of the salon’s work.
- Astro + React (islands) with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS: fast static pages, interactivity only where it’s needed.
- Mobile-first design (most bookings come from a phone), deployed on Vercel.
Why it matters
It was my first end-to-end booking product — and the idea didn’t stop at the degree project: it’s the seed of the commercial AI appointment product I’m building today. From academic project to product line: the same evolution as CV Finder → RecruitSecure AI.
Stack
Astro · React · TypeScript · Tailwind CSS · Calendly · Swiper · Vercel.
